not sure if any of you are familiar with IMVU, it's like MySpace, but it also includes a 3D chat room where you can talk to others online. you get to create an avatar of yourself that you chat with and you can dress them and get pets and rooms for them, etc.
i've started a contest there to commemorate the new release based on the bonus track "Song For Christopher Columbus." even if you don't want to join IMVU and enter, you might want to drop by to see the cute avatars people are making of Columbus and Isabelle
I thought the avatar you use as a profile picture looked familiar, lol. I once had an account there but never used it because I am not a big IM chatter. But regardless, it was fun to play around in the 3D room.
yeah, i use the same avvy on MySpace, too. i honestly don't use the 3D chat there too often, i mostly just talk to people there via comments on their profile page. but i do love the shopping and doing this themed contest. it's a nice way to meet people and it's great to be able to have folks experience jon's new music. a lot of people on there have been digging him (er...of course...lol)
Oh my goodness Mish, those avatars captures are fantastic! If you don't mind I would like to put in a nod for JaneSuperGirl's screen capture. To me, it perfectly fits the song and also the sense of longing that one might get out of the album as a whole. I was really impressed by that one. GREAT IDEA! I mean really brilliant!

lol...you should enter. just don't tell me your IMVU screen name so everything's fair. there are three big prizes and then i often give out some honorable mentions with smaller prizes. it's fun and the people who enter are nice
