The TVGuide channel is running an Idol Marathon today. They are rerunning last year's finale red carpet right now. I believe that earlier in the day, they rebroadcast the red carpet from Jon's year, but I didn't catch that. Later today, they will have a special on the current top 12. I don't know if Jon will show up in any of these things that run today, but he might. Last night, they had a special on Jennifer Hudson, and they showed stills from that year that included Jon. In any case, some of this Idol stuff might interest fans of the show.

My daughter told me that she was watching TVGuide channel to check the listings. She said that they showed Jon's first CD and also did some little interview with him. She didn't know if it was a new interview or a repeat of file footage. Nor did she remember anything he said in the interview. I should have thought to ask her if he mentioned the new album in the interview since that mention would have indicated a newer interview. But at any rate, it was some good publicity for Jon.

I don't think that show is something that will repeat as many TVGuide shows do, but I'm really not sure.
