Yes, I'll join if it's official and approved by JPL. We should also bring up the possibility of money to join. I notice other official fan clubs have a fee. They also have a lot of perks.

I thought that nearly all clubs had membership fees. But my knowledge of fan clubs is very limited.
Perks? Yeah for perks. Like, maybe, front row seats, finding out about concerts early, able to buy tickets first ( I learned all this from our resident JBJ Fan! (maybe back-stage passes)
I'm undecided...it takes a lot of time to keep up with what is going on here. I've never joined one. Why does Jon need this site and a Official Fan Club? Wouldn't it sort of split everyone up. Some people going there and some staying here?

I doubt that an official fan club would have its own site at this point. If I had to guess I'd say it would probably just have a section of jplewismusic.com.

I mean, most of the fan clubs that I know of are usualy run in connection with (or as a part of) that person's official web site! Granted, I'm basing this assesment on most NASCAR driver fan clubs, but still that seems to be the "typical" thing to do! Then again, I don't really know much about fan clubs!

I guess that would be me, lucky. I voted yes but only if there are special perks for fan club members. Besides the all important very good seats at concerts the latest that Bon Jovi is doing that I absolutely love is that Jon's brother video tapes everything...and I mean everything and then they'll put some of it on the paid portion of the site. The lastest was footage from the making of the box set.

I doubt it. I'm not much of a fanclub type person. And in any case, I'll be waiting to see what kind of music he releases - along with more hot pics of course - before I decide anything.
