They are currently promoting their upcoming album, "You're Awful, I Love You." It is their third release, following their self-titled album and their rock opera, "Broken Bride."
Ludo loves the silly, stupid and ridiculous. I presonally went to "A Very Ludo Christmas" this year on 27 Dec. It featured a lavishly decorated Christmas set, people dressed up as Santa, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, elves, a gingerbread man.... You could even get your picture taken with Santa! (yes, I did) At the end of the set, they performed the song, "A Very Ludo Christmas" with all of the above-mentioned costumed people. They also threw out presents from the stage.
Ludo does video updates for their fans on YouTube. It started out as the journey making their new album, and their latest post shows them playing live from... an igloo.
Anyway, these guys are a lot of fun and I highly recommend checking them out.
I love Ludo!!! I had no idea anybody on here even knew who they were! My brother was introduced to them during his first year of college by a girl from St. Louis who actually knows them. And then he brought their music home and I fell in love with them!
I go to school in Idaho so I can't go to any of the release parties. I've never seen them live, but when my brother gets back from his mission for our church we might go together.
Yeah, looks like you'd have to do a roadtrip with their current tour schedule. Have you seen their new YouTube channel, the Ludo Toothbrush thing? Pure hilarity!
I think its funny that someone else mentioned Ludo. I just mentioned them in another post that I typed up about awesome bands that are going to make it BIG.
Those Ludo boys are amazing. They are good friends of mine, and I must admit that it is uber weird to see them on television and hear them on the radio. Especially since I used to have a thing with one of them...lol.
