How many times have you come across two (or more) of your favourite artists in your CD collection or iPod who perform the same songs, whether one had written the song and it was later covered by the other artist, or whether someone else entirely had written the song and both versions were covers? I always love how different artists can bring their own unique spirit and essence to a song, and when two performers perform the same song, it's always cool to compare them (both favourably of course).
Here are some of my favourite "same song, different performer" moments:

Hey Sheepgirl
The actual song title is Heaven Is A Place On Earth from the album titled Heaven On Earth. Many people get confused with the similarity in the titles.
One of Belinda's songs - Should I Let You In - was covered by Meredith Brooks when she was a member of The Graces along with Gia Ciambotti and Charlotte Caffey (who is also a member of Belinda's band The Go-Go's).
On her album Real, Belinda herself later covered another Graces song - Lay Down Your Arms - which was sung by Charlotte.
Another interesting link between these albums is that Belinda co-wrote (but didn't perform any vocals on) Out In The Fields for The Graces.
Here are cover photos and track listings for those three albums if you're interested:
