Hugh Laurie was on Leno tonight and talked about the band he is in called "Band From TV". Yes, it is a play on words, (banned from TV) and because the band members are from various TV shows, like James Denton from Desperate Housewives (He's Mike, the hot plumber), Greg Grunberg from Heros, and Bob Guiney from The Bachelor. There's lots of info about the band on their website and MySpace. Rather than me go on and on, Check it out!
I am also posted this in the House thread because of Hugh Laurie. I listened to him talk about this band on Leno tonight. If this info has been posted before, sorry, I couldn't find it.

Hey, someone finally replied to my thread! I thought I was the only one amused and impressed. Since Hugh Laurie is the keyboard player, I thought at least Callie would comment.

"Heroes" regular Greg Grunberg, "House" star Hugh Laurie, "Desperate Housewives'" James Denton and the other members of the Band from TV will be rockin' the house on Fox's second "American Idol Gives Back" special April 9, reveals Grunberg.
"It's sort of a top-secret thing, which I just blew," says the actor, who plays drums in the band that includes Chris Kelley, Bob Guiney, David Anders, Bonnie Somerville, Brad Savage, Jesse Spencer, Rich Winer and Barry Sarna. "We're pre-taping it on April 6, and I'm so incredibly nervous to play at the Kodak Theater in front of all these people."
