Okay, I give in. MWK, or Midwest Kings, is a band from Tulsa, OK. They're currently on hiatus from performing because their bassist is on American Idol. Yes, it's David Cook's band.

Midwest Kings are a great little Tulsa, OK based band. I've been seeing them play live for years.

While we're on the topic of Tulsa, you all should check out another Tulsa-based band called the Effects. They are friends with Midwest Kings...and their music is a cross between the Beatles & Led Zepplin!

I met them maybe a month ago, really fun guys to party with. And once they came through my drive thru, it was sweet.
