Well, well. Graham's song "Best Days" was featured on American Idol last night. I finally got to watch that episode today and was struck by the song at the very end of the show, so I went looking for info on it on the AI forum. Turns out it really is his song, and you can hear it on his site. Things are looking good for Graham. First, at Sundance's "Synchronize Concert Series," he got to sing on the same stage that Jon sang on later in the day and now he is being played on American Idol. Heady stuff. Jill, I sure wish you could have gone to Sundance on that day.

Great observation arts! Very cool that his song was featured. AI should have played "Stores from Hollywood" on the Hollywood week show. Maybe someone could suggest it for next year??

True .. I was suggesting it for Hollywood week, not as an exit song though. They didn't really show a lot of stuff they usually show during Hollywood week, like the late night pool parties and the fighting. I'm glad as that always made me anti.. because they try so hard to get picked for Hollywood and they get there and blow it apart by partying all night and fighting with people instead of working on their songs .. At least they didn't show any of that this year that I remember.

I think that's because we didnt have group songs this year, lol John Mayer // Elton John // Idols 08 // Daughtry // Jonas Brothers // Rascal Flatts

Good point. Those group numbers were a baaaad idea for the Hollywood rounds. I'd hate to get cut because my lame a$$ group members were too busy partying or fighting all night to practice. And we know that happened a few times.

I heard that on tonight's show. That will be great exposure for him. Do you know what song it will be?

Graham is going to be on Letterman this Friday night, I believe. I have to rely on my daughter for all this information, because she's close friends with his girlfriend and gets all the news.

Graham Colton sent this bulletin on MySpace: Following his performance on The Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday night, Graham will be performing on the NBC’s ‘The Today Show’ on Friday morning, March 13th (check for local NBC listings). Once again, the performance will feature full band with strings. The segment will air in the 9:00 o’clock hour. Be sure to tune in and tell all of your friends!

I finally saw this on TiVo. I'm way behind. Anyway...when did he leave the Band? He sounded pretty good on Ellen. But I have to say, he sounds just like a lot of other bands out there.

Bulletin from Graham's MySpace: Graham will be performing a very special hometown show with John Mellencamp on Friday, July 25 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK! Tickets are on sale May, 2 at 10:00 AM. I'd love to go to that!
