I was so exhausted after the concert, but it was so much fun!!! And I would have posted this sooner, but well I had internet issues, so forgive me Wink

It took us around 3.5 hours to get there, we live 3 hours from Chicago, but when we got to our turn off traffic was deadlocked. Then there was a huge line (but I'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone Wink) and stupid people kept cutting in line :Smile But all that ended up doing was making it so that by the time we actually got to the gates we didn't have to be patted down.. LOL They were taking away people's water bottles if they were open or if they had more than one. You could take one in with you, but they made you leave the cap at the gate (I don't understand that, but whatever). As soon as we got through the gates the first thing we did was buy a map/schedule (It was only $2, and well worth it), then we had to check to see what time and what stage Ludo was on, cuz that was going to determine who else we listened to. I think I kind of pissed my friends off a bit after that, cuz I took off walking, and they had to fallow me, but in my defense, there was Ludo Merch. there and I was going to buy some Wink I bought two shirts, which each came with a free copy of You're Awful, I Love You (which I already had a copy of, so I gave one to one of my friends and kept the other for autographs later Wink) and I gave the totally awesome man working the Tent a tip so I got a kazoo (which later got stolen out of my pocket during another show.. stupid bastard!!).

As soon as we turned around to go look at the other Merch. Tents some chick all stops me and asked if I wanted to listen to a really awesome band (her words), so I'm like, 'sure' cuz I listen to all kinds of music and I'm open to giving a listen to anyone. Anyway, I really liked the song she was playing for me, so I bought one of their cds for $10. They are called The Bronx, they were playing at Noon on the stage right by where we came in, so I had been listening to them while we were in line to get in, and I really liked their stuff (I was listening to sound check, but they were doing a little singing with their sound check.) (There were a few bands there I would have liked to have listened to and didn't get the chance, cuz they were playing on the other side of the park from the band we had just got done listening to, or at the same time as a band I wanted to listen to more.) Anyway, I would have stayed at their stage for their show, but my friends were really digging them so we moved on, and were kind of looking around to see where all the stages were and to find a loo. I read the map to see where Ludo was and my friend was arguing with me about it, so I made them walk with me all the way to the amphitheater, cuz I was pretty sure that's what I was reading. Well when we got there, you couldn't really read what was behind the band playing. So I walked down closer to the stage (by myself, they didn' t want to go with me) and I came back up and I was like "This is their stage!" and they were like "Are you sure?" and I was like "Yup, it said hurley.com"

So then we looked at the schedule again to see what times people were playing, and decided that if we wanted a good spot for Ludo we had to get back before the band before them started. Since they were on the amphitheater there was two stages set up. So then we decided that we wanted to see The Acadamy Is (OMG their stage was PACKED!!! But that's what you get trying to see a local band at one of these things). I kept getting shoved whenever I tried to get a pic, so I only ended up with like nine pics of them.

Here are a couple of them (the rest are on my myspace):

(Wasn't planning on a butt shot, but that's kind of what happened)

(Some stupid chick almost ruined my pic there)

We ended up leaving their show before it was done, cuz we got tired of the pushing.. Somehow I got picked to lead the group out of there, and in the process of that, someone totally groped me, I mean, just cuz it's there, doesn't mean you can touch it...

So then we went over by the 'Bubble' stage, cuz the next group we wanted to see was going to be going on there soon, and there was this really rockin' band playing right then, but my friends didn't like them and decided they were thirsty so we headed for a water stand.. Me leading again. Well when I got the the vendor they weren't with me anymore, so I had to backtrack and find them. Some guy stopped them and had them listening to some band. So then I listened a bit too, and I liked them so I bought another cd! They were called Kill Your Ex, we didn't catch their show, and my friend didn't really like the cd when she tried listening to it on the way home, but they're not bad. So after that we started to head back over to get water, and I saw a heartagram on the ground!!!! So being the huge H.I.M. fan that I am, I had to take a pic of it..

LOL Yeah I know I'm a dork! So then when we got our water, again they took the caps off and threw them away.. I was like "I don't get it"

So then we headed back to the 'Bubble' stage, for We The Kings!! I love them!!! but I keep getting Check Yes Juliet stuck in my head: run baby run, don't ever look back they'll tear us apart if you give them the chance (I should have bought one of their cds, but I didn't think about it when we were by their Merch. Tent, I can always order it).

(What can I say, he's HOTT)

After their set we decided the best thing to do would be to head back to the amplitheater so that we could get a good spot for Ludo. (Someone stole my kazoo during their We The Kings' set Sad it had been in my pocket, and the way people are all touchy there it doesn't surprise me). So we get back to the amplitheater and we sat down, cuz there was this Japanese Ska band playing on the stage Ludo was set to go on, and since it was in the amplitheater there was two stages set up. So we had the rest of the Japanese Ska band and then this screamo band Sky Eat Airplane. OMG it sucked cuz for the first verse of Go Getter Greg, Andrew sounded like a munchkin. Anyway when the Ska band was done we went down and got right up front, so that we could a good spot for Ludo!! And they came out to set up their instruments, so I was taking pics of them setting up while the other band was playing, it was totally awesome!!!

Here are a few pics from set up:

They started their set off with Go Getter Greg:

Hum Along:

Lake Pontchartain:

Girls on Trampolines:

Good Will Hunting By Myself:

And they ended with Love Me Dead:

After their show, my friends decided they wanted to eat, but I wasn't hungry so I decided to go to their Merch Tent (Cuz I know Andrew was gonna be there, cuz he led a parade of 'idiots' there after the show.) So I went to the Merch Tent and got a hoodie and another kazoo, since someone stole my first one.. And Andrew took it away from me and signed it and gave me a hug and I got my pic taken with him then:

His head is rather large, either that or mine is abnormally small...

So then I went back to find my friends, which took awhile, cuz well there was like 10,000 people or more there.. So then we decided we needed to figure out where the 'AP' Tent was, cuz that was where Ludo was gonna be signing autographs, and we just happened to stumble on it, then my friends decided they wanted to go back to the Merch Tent again, so I went with and Convy was there (but he didn't stay long and only talked to the Merch Guy..) and Andrew was still there signing autographs, so he signed my cd booklet, and then gave me another hug and pulled me aside and was all like "Make sure you come by the 'AP' Tent at 5:45 to meet the rest of the guys, do you know where it is or do you want me to show you?" and I looked up and there was like 20 girls glaring at me, so I'm like "Oh we already found it" and he was like "Good, then I'll see you there right?" So my friends didn't know if they wanted to go to the 'AP' Tent or not, and I was like "Well, I'm going, cuz Andrew told me he expected to see me there." So then we went to the 'AP' Tent to wait (we waited there for 45 mins, but we were within the first 15 people).

So I walk up to the table and Marshall is talking to me, but I couldn't hear him, cuz there is a concert going on like 100 feet away and the guy is screaming a bit. And so I thought he said "Do you want me to cover my face?" and I'm like 'Yeah' and he is like "Which one?" and I'm like 'What?' and then he all flips the booklet to the cover and I'm like 'YOUR FACE" all loud to him and Ferrell is sitting next to him laughing and going "I don't think she can hear you" and I'm like 'I can't hear, I was right next to the speaker' and he was like "Oh, I can't hear either" So then Ferrell goes to sign next and he just kind of gives me a goofy grin. Next was Pmo, and he signed his face and then was like "Hi" with the biggest smile ever  and he was like "How are you?" and I'm like 'Good, you?' and he is like "Are you having fun?" and I'm like 'Yeah'. Then Andrew was next and he flips it to his pic and he looks up a little disappointed so I'm like 'Since you already signed it you can write something else or draw me a picture.' and he was like "yeah" and then wrote: Bears! Next was Convy.. And he was all like "I'm Tim", and I'm like 'I know' and then he shook my hand. Laugh Marshall shook my hand too, and Andrew gave me a hi five.. My friend was all like "Your Pmo, gave me a fist pound, why didn't you talk to him." and I was like "I did we had a whole conversation"..

Anyway here are the pics in the order they were at the table:

After meeting Ludo we went and caught some of Gym Class Heroes:

So then we decided to leave. And as we were heading out some chick came up to us and asked if we were leaving and if we could take her friend to Target cuz she had Sun Poisoning. So we were like 'Sure' and so she turns to her friend and she is like "Ok go ahead" and he friend turned around and fell down face first and then started siezing in front of us, it was really scary.

Then we went to the After Party cuz we were wanting to see Flogging Molly. But there was a creepy guy who kept looking at me, and we were getting tired so we left before the opening act ended, but we plan to catch them some other time..

Sounds like a great time! I heard one of their songs on the radio the other day and thought of you going to see them. Lucky you. Sounds like they were very friendly to their fans, which is always nice.

OH.. do you have a picture of the kazoo? Haha I had one of those once, they are fun.

No, I could take one though... LOL (Maybe I'll do that tomorrow)

Oh and I forgot to post that while we were in line for the autographs, a bird flew over and totally crapped on like five people... I was so glad I was behind them Wink And the people that were there for Island Records (Ludo's label) gave us free Monster Warped Tour 08 Water (It cost like $5 otherwise)

Oh and here is the pic that made me decide I want to adopt Andrew:
