Half Past Forever is Chris Sligh's group from before Idol, and I think they could have great radio airplay if they played their cards right. Check 'em out. And buy their cd on amazon!
Just wanted to shoot a quick note. The weekend is generally a slow time for CD sales. We're currently at #29 on Amazon...if you know people who might like the CD, ask them to buy it this weekend. If we can sell a ton of copies over the weekend, we might hit the top 10, and Amazon will take notice. I'm really proud of how well the CD is selling! Look around...no indie CD is even close to where we are! It's awesome what you guys are doing. Tell everyone you know, or do as some have done and buy gifts for friends and family.
Thanks so much for your support. When it comes to being a fan, I've enjoyed feeling like I was a part of something great. I love it that you guys are able to join me in this ride, hopefully, to the top.
To the greatest fans in the world: Peace and love

We are happy to announce that Half Past Forever has signed what is called a licensing deal with Brash Music out of Atlanta, GA. Basically, the way a licensing deal works is that the record label will take our already-recorded album "Take a Chance On Something Beautiful" and repackage it to be re-released. The albums's re-release date is July 10.
So, very, very soon, you will be able to find the album in stores across the nation.
Unfortunately, Chris is not able to participate in the re-release activities, but we know his blessing is with us. We all spent a lot of time making this album starting a year ago, and Chris has always let us know that we should take this album as far as we can. But his obligations at this point are elsewhere, so we are having to do this without him. But he produced the record, co-mixed the record with Adam, wrote all the songs, sang all the songs and played all kinds of different instruments on the record. So, he definitely made an impact on what this record is.
On the new packaging, he is under the pseudonym Chris Foxx. Funny, right?
Well, go out July 10 and buy the album anywhere you can find it.

When Chris visited a local station soon after he was eliminated from AI,they played one of the band's song. Chris said it would probably be the lead single or something of that nature. I didn't really like the music; it reminds me of contemporary Christian sort of. Like it's neither rock nor pop but something in between. That's really my beef with most "Contemporary" Christian music. I'm not saying it wasn't a good sound; just not to my liking.
HPF as a band is no more, but the band members will be doing some dates with me in the near future. So, for those who have not yet friended my music space, I'd love for each and every one of you to be able to move your friendship from this myspace to the music myspace, in celebration of my new record deal with Brash Music.
All you have to do is CLICK HERE and friend me!
Thanks so much to all the people have already gone over and friended my music myspace. To those that have done, I would ask you to possibly think about introducing your friends to the music and having them friend the music space, also. We're working from the ground up here, and I can use as much help as possible.
