Hey Guys Smile

With Christmas coming in a few short months, I thought I would share my list of favourite Top Ten Christmas Songs of all time [*IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER*} - some are magnificent originals and some are timeless classics made new and exciting by fantastic performances by awesome performers: Smile

1) O Come, O Come Emmanuel

*I love three different versions - by Bette Midler, Amy Grant, and the original Latin version by Beth Nielsen Chapman...

2) Through Your Eyes - Suzy Bogguss

3) Silver Bells - Martina McBride's version...

4) Christmas Is Calling - Val Kilmer

5) Breath Of Heaven

* I love both Amy Grant's (original) and Melanie Taylor's (cover) versions...

6) Christmas Lullaby - Belinda Carlisle & Charlotte Caffey

7) It's Christmas & California Christmas - Jon Peter Lewis

8) A Christmas Son - Debbi Peterson & Siobhan Maher-Kennedy

9) Merry Christmas Darling - both Amy Grant's and Melanie Taylor's versions...

10) Mele Kalikimaka - Bette Midler's version...

Also, I just wanted everyone to know that Martina McBride has re-released her Christmas album with four bonus songs, including: Smile

Hark The Herald Angels Sing
Winter Wonderland
Jingle Bells
*Baby It's Cold Outside
(*a duet with Dean Martin)

Silver Bells
Do you Hear What I Hear
I'll Be Home For Christmas
O Come All Ye Faithful
Away In A Manger
White Christmas
Silent Night
The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)
What Child Is This
O Holy Night

So, what are everyone else's favourite Christmas songs and does anyone else have any Christmas music news to report? Smile

Cheers, Mikey Smile

I like all kinds of Christmas music. One of my favorite CDs to play at Christmas is the Elvis Christmas CD. Also, I think Oh Holy Night is a very beautiful song.

It's never too early to post about Christmas music, Sheep! I listen to it all the time! Wink

Which reminds me, it's almost time to watch He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special on DVD (which incidentally you can watch in English and Spanish) - so I should invite Jon over to watch it with me. He loves She-Ra and speaks Spanish! LOL

Cheers, Mikey Smile
