Free acoustical concert with American Idol Bo Bice! WAPE 95.1 presents a free acoustical concert with American Idol Bo Bice! Friday January 27th at Twisted Martini.
Doors open at 11am. Show is free for ticket winners. Winners must pay for food, drinks and parking.
Winners must be female! The ticket is for two and the person accompanying the winner must be female.
Tickets will be available for winners at the WAPE studios beginning Tuesday January 24th.
ALL winners must be 21 or over!

This is starting to really stress me out! Bo will be within one block from me, and I wont be able to see him! I will be going down to the Landing to try to listen though. I'll stick my ears up against the windows to try to hear something!
Jill, yes, you have to win from this radio station ONLY in order to go. Tickets are only won, none purchased. Only women can win, and the guest has to be a woman.
I am sick of listening to this station! I HATE THIS MUSIC! They play Kelly way too much also. Now, ya'll know I love Kelly...but very ten songs or so is too much!

They just gave out the LAST pair of tickets to go see Bo tomorrow!!!! I am so upset about this.
I will however but in the court yard of the Landing and I will attempt to get in and see him or at least heard him a little bit!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! Now that I got that out of my system here is my story about my most wonderful day!!!
So, from reading this thread, you know I have been trying to win tickets from this crappy radio station to see Bo in concert at this bar only one block from where I work. Ok, so you also know that I never was able to win those tickets. OK, so my day is this...
I decided that I would attempt to get in to the show anyway. I went down to the Landing (area downtown that has shopping and eating and events) to see what I could see. All I saw for a while were people standing around. I walked around back to see if I could see Bo come in. Nothing...so back to the front. I saw the radio personalities that I have been forced to listen to all week, blah. I was talking to my man, who was trying to get his connections working for me and get me tickets, which didn't work. So he kept telling me to just ask people if they had an extra ticket or were alone. (Each winner or ticket holder was allowed a guest) So I talked with on of the radio people and asked if they had any extra ticket...HAHA! Like they would give me one right! Then I asked if they know if anyone was there alone and needed a "freind" for the event. She didn't know but suggested that I ask the people waiting in line. UGH! I am so shy!!
Well, I started asking the woman in line "Do you have an extra ticket?" "Do you need a friend?" "Anyone come alone?" This one girl in the back on the line looked at me and said "I do. My boss was supposed to come but didn't, so do you want to come in with me?" DO I??!! OMG! Are you serious??? HECK YES!!
So we stood there....I finally introduced myself..."By the way, I'm Deborah, THANK YOU SO MUCH!" This is of course after I know she has two kids and a job with a furniture store. Sheesh. SO we kept standing there....no one is opening the doors or saying anything. The winners and all radio listeners were told to get there at 11 because the door would open then and Bo will not wait for you to get seated. He will start on time and blah blah...don't be late!
ok...so at 11:30 they said it would be about 15 minutes more...then at 11:45 they said just a bit more. The snotty girls behind us must have know people inside because they started talking about the bathrooms backing up and the sewage problem they are now having inside. ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! Oh man...then you could start to smell it. GREAT!
This went on an on. Finally about 12:30 we saw Bo! He waved to us all just standing there waiting for him. They did a sound check and then...FINALLY they opened the doors at 1:00. (there is more to it, but this is getting long...)
I will tell you about the inside later...I have to go home now.
I will just say this...Bo is AWESOME! I was not more than 20 feet away from him the whole time. He is much better looking in person than on TV! (At least I thought so!)
