I've been keeping up in the news of him lately, and I absolutely love his newest CD. If you didn't know already, he was released from Rehab a few days ago. He left a heart filled message on his website. Check it out.
That was so sweet! Good for him. I wish we could send people that were falling off the nice wagon into a rehab too. People that sort of forget how to be decent and kind and loving...isn't there a rehab for things like that??
Anyway....good for him, happy for him and that was something rare in the "business" to actually thank your fans with a video message. Really genuine.

I love Keith Urban!! My favorite song of his is still "Where The Blacktop Ends"
Gonna kick off my shoes And run in bare feet Where the grass and the dirt And the gravel all meet Goin' back to the well Gonna visit old friends And feed my soul Where the blacktop ends

It's official! Keith Urban will be back on North American stages starting on June 8, when he begins the first leg of his "Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour" in Phoenix, Ariz.
The 33-city, 36-performance arena tour of the U.S. and Canada takes its name from his new album, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, released while he was undergoing a 90-day rehab stint for alcohol addiction.
"I'm looking forward to getting back on the road, to reconnecting with everyone and to doing what it is that I love to do," Urban said in a statement.
"To finally be able to present the songs from Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing live is something that I've been looking forward to doing since recording the album."
Urban left the Betty Ford Clinic earlier this month and credits his wife of seven months, Nicole Kidman, for helping him handle the ordeal. "Three months is a long time to be away – it felt like eternity to me," Urban told Germany's Stern magazine this week. "There was a lot of time and that's what's carried me through."
He added, "My family is very, very important to me, (and) being the best husband I can be."
He also hinted that he and Kidman, both 39, might renew their vows. "I haven't talked about that, but it sounds like a good idea," he said. "I think it's a great thing to do for marriages anyway. I think it's very important to keep romance in a relationship."
General release concert tickets go on sale Feb. 3.

Keith Urban has a bad case of K-Fed-itis. He tells WENN that he's a star of country music, so he does not like that people might associate his fame with his wife Nicole Something-or-other, or his bouts in rehab. "It's extremely painful, no doubt about it," says Keith. "But at the same time I can only say that it'd drive me crazy if I kept confronting myself with those kinds of things." The Aussie singer-songwriter was, of course, reasonably well known Down Under and in these parts, but got a fame upgrade when he began dating Kidman in late 2005 and again when he married her last summer, only to check into rehab shortly thereafter.
