What CD's are you looking forward to that you've heard about and are on the *To be released/have been announced* list?


Here are my choices (*means release date unknown at this time):

Stories From Hollywood - Jon Peter Lewis (November 7)
Please Come Down - The Lamps (November 14)
Voila - Belinda Carlisle (February 6 2007)

*Hearts And Daggers - Petra Haden & Miss Murgatroid
*California Fade - Anna Waronker
*If I Could Be - Meredith Brooks
*Right As Rain - Gia Ciambotti


Plus there are reports of new albums by Suzy Bogguss, The Bangles, Susanna Hoffs and Matthew Sweet (Sid N Susie), and Melanie Taylor (from The Staggering Harlettes).

In the wishlist category, I would also love new solo albums by Vicki Peterson, Debbi Peterson, Michael Steele, Susan Cowsill, Siobhan Maher-Kennedy, Jane Wiedlin, Kathy Valentine, Charlotte Caffey, and Gina Schock.

Which reminds me, I still need to add the rest of Suzy Bogguss' and Beth Nielsen Chapman's CDs to my collection, as well as Amy Grant's My Best Christmas, Melanie Taylor's This Christmas, The Bangles Holiday In Bangleonia, and the two CD's by Drag (Dominique Davalos' band).

Also, I found out about The Bangles EP (1982) and Beth Nielsen Chapman's Hearing It First debut album from 1980, but it appears they aren't available on CD as yet.

And my copies of Jon's single If I Go Away and Man Like Me, Amy Grant's The Spirit Of Christmas, Bette Midler's Cool Yule, and Through Alien Empires by Miss Murgatroid haven't arrived in the mail yet, but should do so soon!

I am also looking forward to buying Mario Vazquez, and Christina Aguilera - Back to Basics, they've both been out for a while, I just haven't really went out to buy them yet lol.
