No, I don't mean Led Zepplin... although I wouldn't count them out.

I'm talking about bands inspired by the literary world of Harry Potter created by J.K. Rowling. It all started, I believe, with Harry and the Potters . Kind of snowballed from there. Harry and the Potters, along with Draco and the Malfoys (and perhaps others), are touring libraries across the USA to promote reading. Rather cool. If a little strange. Sometimes strange is cool.

Most of these bands are the "just for fun" kind, and many are not... erm... very musical.

My favorites are the Whomping Willows (wicked sense of humor, and very catchy) and Hollow Godric (rather good music, actually).
