Hey Guys

As you all know, I'm a huge fan of (and Street Team member for) Val Kilmer and one of the wonderful productions in my VK DVD collection is The Ten Commandments: The Musical in which Val played Moses. I've watched it several times and love it more each time. Along with Val, I've also become fans of Nita Whitaker (Zipporah), Lauren Kennedy (Nefertari), Michelle Pereira (Yokebed), and Luba Mason (Bithia) and have been trying to add their CDs to my collection.

Michelle has an album called In My Life, Luba has an album called Collage and a new one on the way called Krazy Love, Nita has three albums - Nita Whitaker, One Voice, and Life Stories, and Lauren has two albums - Songs Of Jason Robert Brown and Here And Now.

On Michelle Pereira's new album (her debut album in fact) there is a really beautiful cover of John Lennon & Paul McCartney's In My Life, which is also the title of Michelle's album.





The rest of the songs are originals, performed by Michelle in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, but the cover of In My Life is really great. It even rivals Bette Midler's beautiful version from the For The Boys movie and CD soundtrack.

Michelle Pereira played Yokebed in The Ten Commandments: The Musical. Val Kilmer played her son Moses.


I haven't reviewed the album properly yet, but will soon. Michelle Pereira is a lovely lady (we've spoken via MySpace a few times) with a beautiful voice and stage presence.
