What fun that would be, Pattie, but unfortunately I won't be there. Please give us a concert report. Going to one of Bon Jovi's concerts is on my list of things I really want to do.

I guess I'm very late with a review but here goes (If I can remember everything that is)
In NYC I was 4th row and I got awesome pictures and needless to say had a great view. Jon started the show on a stand (where the sound guys are) in the middle of the arena floor which certainly surprised quite a few people. After the song he made his way up the side aisle, high-fiving the fans as he went by. About half-way through the show he suddenly appeared on another stand set up in the seating area in the lower floor section about 4 sections back from the stage. He sang two songs from there and while singing the second song slowly made he way back to the stage. He is very trusting of his fans, even though he had security with him he was awfully accessible to anybody who had the nerve to throw themselves at him LOL. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed both shows I felt the second night was the best. Then on to Philly...the setup was the same with Jon in the audience two times but this time I was 2nd row almost center. You should see these pictures. Can you see these? http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/PattieGreg/NewPICT0030.jpg

I have to say that the second Philly show is the best BJ show I've ever seen so far.
So I have one more in Feb. and they should be announcing summer shows soon. In fact, Jon already said they were coming back to Philly.

Ok, guys I know JPL is the ONLY Jon we should talk about and I DO LOVE doing that, but.... I got back a few hours ago from seeing Bon Jovi on the most "romantic" day of the year. Let me say the show was AWESOME!!!! If you've never seen them in concert and are a fan....I highly recommend attending a show, because they ROCK the house!!! I've never seen Jon in concert (except for the AI tour), so I must say this is the BEST concert I've ever been to!!!! JBJ even did a special Valentine's of...what else..."My Funny Valentine"!!! Anyway, I'll divulge more a little later and even post some pics.

Hey guys....the Feb. show was in A/C at Boardwalk Hall. The show was good but my seats sucked (not Fanclub seats) and I had to look at Jon's rear all night (that could be a good thing LOL). I wasn't feeling well that night either, something I ate that day didn't agree with me.

I stayed overnight, so the following day I stopped in Philly to attend the Soul game. Bon Jovi played at half-time and the Soul won...yippee.

Iris...Jon is about 5'10". One of those cute little Italian guys.

Paula....I've been to 22 concerts since 1995.

I get to see them again in the summer...they're coming back to Philly.

Bon Jovi was the opening act of the Daytona race. Since ,I have a race fan in my family we were watching the concert. He was pointing out the race car drivers in the audience and I was pointing out by name the band members. It was fun. Guitar

And then Jay Leno drove the pace car.

My friend has been to 3, or wait is it 4, of his concerts from this tour this year. She wants to go to another one. She is obsessed. Smile

I was a big fan back in the day, but I just can't get into his new voice. I like the old raspy rough voice. I have never been to a concert of theirs, but I would LOVE to go. I hear he/they put on a great show.

Noll works with Bon Jovi star
By Kathy McCabe

March 31, 2007 12:00

AMERICA'S biggest hitmakers have given Shannon Noll their seal of approval, lining up to help write the songs for his much-anticipated third album.

While overwhelmed by the feedback he has received from the men responsible for writing dozens of No. 1 US hits, the Condobolin musician yesterday said he was keeping his feet on the ground with surprise sessions with buskers.

"I'll pay a busker $20 to use his guitar and play in the streets sometimes. I like to do that to get my head straight and realise why I am doing this," he said.

Noll has just returned from a six-week writing trip to the US where he collaborated with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, '80s chart-topper Richard Marx and Desmond Child, who has penned hits for Aerosmith, Kiss, Cher, Meat Loaf and Robbie Williams.

See the rocker describe his experiences by watching his interview with Kathy McCabe.

All the US composers contacted his management to commend Noll's vocal abilities and his growth as a songwriter.

"One said I was 10 times better as a songwriter now and that was a big thing for me to hear. These are people I have looked up to for years and years," Noll said.

Noll said writing songs inspired by his love for his family – wife Rochelle, sons Cody and Blake and baby daughter Sienna – made him incredibly homesick.

"Richard and I wrote a song about the struggle your other half goes through while you are away. It's about 'Don't worry, I am still with you and I am thinking about you'," he said.

"When you are writing about this stuff you're thinking 'Oh, I want to go home now'."

Noll will continue writing his rockier third album until he begins recording mid year and hopes to release it in September.

"I am still so overwhelmed by the support of my fans, I still have trouble digesting 'Why me?' I can't wait to get back out there so the people who have supported me this far can hear it," he said.

Bon Jovi's Finger Protest Caught on Tape
Posted Apr 11th 2007 12:27PM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Wacky and Weird

Jon Bon Jovi flashed a double bird at the referees at an Arena Football League, after the team he owns gave up a late touchdown -- just as ESPN2 cameras cut to him for a reaction shot. Yeah, that's a reaction all right!

It happened Monday night after Jon's Philadelphia Soul gave up a controversial score late in the game. But it was only controversial because Bon Jovi didn't quite understand what happened, which resulted in his aforementioned gesture. He expressed regret afterwards, saying, "I apologize for the middle-finger thing. I didn't understand the rule. Simple as that."

The Arena Football League said it will "review this matter over the next few days to determine if discipline is warranted."

Well, Jon has apologized everywhere and the League has said it was enough. He posted a written apology on the Philadelphia Soul fansite and I must say the reactions there were something. Most of them said that now Jon is a true Philadelphian...haha. I posted on a news site that the camera should have panned the audience instead and they would have seen a much worse reaction. I have to admit that I, myself, was a bit angry. Arena Football has some strange rules that take a little getting used to. The other team had to try 3 times to kick the point after because of all the boos.
