There are a few AFL ads out. They have a 2 min. and 60 sec. ad. I'm pretty sure both of them have both JBJ and Josh in it. They did the ad with some of the Las Vegas cast because the Arena Bowl is going to be in Las Vegas in June. And also, both the AFL games and Las Vegas are on the same network so they actually get a double commercial out of it. Clever of them, isn't it. Is the Arena commercial the long one where at the end it shows JBJ singing in the lounge and John Elway dressed in an Elvis costume?

Their not really commeicals. Like the one is an ad for the AFL but it is like 5 min. long. And the other one is like an ad; only had interview them all. They interview JBJ, John Elway, Josh, and the chic that plays Josh's fiancee on Las Vegas. They do show JBJ singing in the lounge but right after it cuts to an interview clip of him talking about how he is 'wearing his prom tux'. That one lasts a good 10 mins I think. (or so it seems while I"m working) I see it on the TV and I just can't look away (it's really bad when they play the Kenny Chesney one inbetween or right before or right after those; cuz I love me some Kenny too)

No..actually I don't get that station anymore but thankfully it was a rerun and I have it taped from the first run. I can and do watch it sometimes. I actually have about 15 VCR tapes of everytime BJ has been on TV even the commercials Jon made. They are 6 hr. tapes so that is 90 hrs. of BJ. I know what I'm going to do when I retire for the first 2 weeks at least.

I just found this very interesting article. I knew about the JBJ part but didn't know about Randy Jackson: When the nineties took over, acclaimed power-rock artists such as Aldo Nova were swept aside in an instant. Misguided teenage angst propelled grunge towards the forefront of the alternative rock scene; whatever was powerful and spectacular in the musical sense was now lo-fi, and certainly very dirty. Aldo Nova, reeling from the lack of success that was offered a decade earlier, launched a last-ditched attempt to combat anachronism with Blood On The Bricks, a fun, power-rock album that generates a shimmering rock sheen. Oh, and don't forget Jon Bon Jovi, who not only contributes vocals to the majority of tracks on offer, but also had a hand in writing most of the album too. It was payback time for Bon Jovi, who was helping Aldo Nova out on his own self-created label as a thank you to Nova's work on the Young Guns II: Blaze Of Glory soundtrack a year or so earlier. What makes Blood On The Bricks such fun to listen to, is that it actually sounds like a mature Bon Jovi album. Think of it as though the eighties incarnation of Bon Jovi was frozen in time, then had his age accelerated twenty years, and was then dropped in the early nineties. Blood On The Bricks is the album he would make slightly after the defrost. Sure, there are production elements that clearly place this Aldo Nova work firmly in the no-mans-land of rock (somewhere in the late-eighties to early nineties) but there are still enough reasons to seek it out. Other than Bon Jovi, Blood On The Bricks also allowed room for Grammy award winning producer Randy Jackson to shine on bass, and frequent Bryan Adams collaborator Jim Valance to appear, which confirms the claims that this really is a "super-group" album. As for the songs themselves, the title track stands out, along with the equally frenetic Medicine Man. Compare this to Someday, which suggests a refraining wisdom, and you have a three-dimensional array in which to launch into full-on rock action. Forget the Cobains and the Blacks of this world, you want Aldo Nova with his pal Bon Jovi in your stereo! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It suddenly got hot in here, Pattie! But why do I expect him to be a typical man holding his gut in for the photo?

YIPPPPPEEEEEE!!!!! Get ready Lynn: Ballad-free Bon Jovi CD being readied for September By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith Jon Bon Jovi reports that he and his band will be hitting the road this November for a concert trek in support of the yet-untitled album for which they anticipate a September release. "It's a rather contemporary-sounding record, but it's a big rock record," reveals the music icon. "There are no real ballads on it." It's also a big year for Bon Jovi the actor. He has the thriller "Cry Wolf" due in August, and the comedy "The Trouble With Frank" set for release later in the year. "It's good to utilize the acting chops once in a while because it's been a while," he says with a laugh. First off, he and fellow arena football team owner John Elway show up as themselves on the May 23 season finale of NBC's "Las Vegas." We caught up with the pair on set while they talked sports in between takes with "Las Vegas" regular Molly Sims and guest star Dean Cain. An excited Josh Duhamel soon joined in, asking the rock legend to sign his new electric guitar. As for why Bon Jovi bought the Philadelphia Soul football team? "I love football. I would get depressed at the end of football season," he says.

From the AI board: Heather Locklear was on Jay Leno last night and talked about her appearance on American Idol with her daughter Ava. When Ryan Seacrest came to talk with them, Ava couldn’t remember the name of her favorite, so Heather reminded her it was “Anthony.” Jay asked who Heather’s favorite was and she said Bo, of course. Then she added that her husband, Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi, is playing on Bo’s CD. Richie will be a featured artist because he wants to support Bo’s career. How cool is that? I wake up in the morning And I raise my weary head I got an old coat for a pillow And the earth was last night's bed I don't know where I'm going Only God knows where I've been I'm a devil on the run A six gun lover A candle in the wind
When you're brought into this world They say you're born in sin Well at least they gave me something I didn't have to steal or have to win Well they tell me that I'm wanted Yeah I'm a wanted man I'm a colt in your stable I'm what Cain was to Abel Mister catch me if you can
I'm going down in a blaze of glory Take me now but know the truth I'm going down in a blaze of glory Lord I never drew first But I drew first blood I'm no one's son Call me young gun
You ask about my consience And I offer you my soul You ask if I'll grow to be a wise man Well I ask if I'll grow old You ask me if I known love And what it's like to sing songs in the rain Well, I've seen love come And I've seen it shot down I've seen it die in vain
Shot down in a blaze of glory Take me now buy know the truth 'Cause I'm going down in a blaze of glory Lord I never drew first But I drew first blood I'm the devil's son Call me young gun
Each night I go to bed I pray the lord my soul to keep No I ain't looking for forgiveness But before I'm six foot deep Lord, I got to ask a favor And I'll hope you'll understand 'Cause I've lived life to the fullest Let this boy die like a man Staring down the bullet Let me make my final stand
Shot down in a blaze of glory Take me now but know the truth I'm going out in a blaze of glory Lord I never drew first But I drew first blood And I'm no one's son Call me young gun I'm a young gun
