HUH!!??? WHAT??!! I don't get that. Where do you see or get the impression that it is a requirement? That is such an odd thing to say with so many other artist threads out there that many more people are posting on. Very odd.

Because Bon Jovi is consistently referenced and offered as a basis of comparison in posts all over this message board. Things like "Well, Bon Jovi did this and see where it got them!" and "I've been a fan of Bon Jovi for twenty years and their fans help them achieve greatness." (Please note, I'm paraphrasing, these are not exact quotes.) I see Bon Jovi mentioned more than any other band or individual performer (except JPL), always in a positive way, and frequently as a basis for comparison for how JPL could or should do things. It comes across like Bon Jovi is the gold standard. It almost seems like a requirement to understand and like Bon Jovi if you want to be a fan of JPL.

Thank God I wasn't in NJ this morning. Jon Bon Jovi actioned off a lunch date with himself for a Children's Hospital in NJ. The highest bid was $11,000.
