Chris LaDeux (sp) also did a remake of "Bang a Drum" that Jon Bon Jovi wrote and performed on a soundtrack for the movie "Young Guns II". It was a solo effort by Jon. Jon sang on it with Chris and made an appearance on the video also. Also, JBJ make a cameo appearance in the movie but if you blinked you missed him. He was in a gunfight scene and got shot and fell into a hole. That makes a good trivia question.
I just wanted to say that the stuff JBJ did for Young Guns was my favorite. My favorite Bon Jovi song is Blaze of Glory ;Þ |

Just a reminder for BJ fans....don't forget to watch the American Music Awards Sunday..they're getting an award and performing.

I finally had time to listen to some more music today Pattie. I really love the duet with Willie, I'd like to have seen that in person! I'll be sure to watch the awards Sunday too. Congratulations Bon Jovi!

Saw some Bon Jovi and a heavy metal special on MTV (or maybe VH1). Man, he was HOTT! (and sort of pretty at the same time)

Yeah Beach....and he knows about that too. He sings a song called Just Older...where he talks about I'm not old, just older and at one point (at a live performance not on the album) he says "And I'm still pretty, too". That's actually a dig to the critics.

Oh Poo, JBJ stole the idea I had for a sign. On the labels' site they just put up an EPK for the release of a boxed set and in it he says about 20 more years and Richie says about 200,000,000. I was going to have my sign say 20 more yrs./200,000,000.

Bon Jovi is always at their best during a live performance. They have to tone down the songs for radio play. The entire band interacts with the audience...that is if you can take your eyes off Jon. You could be at the back of Giants Stadium and you'll swear that he is looking directly at you. It's something you have to expierence for yourself. I've been to 16 concerts so far and I'll never get tired of them. |

Pattie, I watch last night and was happy to see them win! But it would have been nice to hear the others say a little something!
Also, I have been wondering something for a while now and I am wondering if you noticed the same thing being such an avid JBJ fan. OK, when he can back from his acting hiatus, did you notice that he sang differently? It's like he sings out of his nose now...or that he tenses his lips and throat too much. I'm not sure what it is but on "It's my life" he sounds like a different singer from his earlier songs. Even singing the earlier stuff, he sounds different. What's up with that? Any idea? And just my opinion, but I like the way he used to sound a heck of a lot better than he sounds now. But don't get me wrong, he is still hot. Please don't be mad at me for this post. |
