Hey Guys

I was visiting over at
Return Post (
The Bangles website/forum where I am an active poster), and apparently
Susanna Hoffs, rhythm guitarist for
The Bangles has granted fans a Q&A session, since she can't do a chat for a while because of her busy schedule. So she's invited questions about the new album she's working on which she'll answer on her Q&A page.
Susanna Hoffs and
Matthew Sweet (collectively known as
Sid 'N' Susie) are in the studio recording
Under The Covers 2, the sequel album to their
2006 hit,
Under The Covers, which focused on new arrangements of classic 60s songs.

The second album in the series, to be released this year, will focus on songs from the 70s. I thought you guys might be interested because many of you have favourite artists from the 60s-70s eras I believe. I know
Jon and
Val Kilmer both have favourite musicians from those periods, so I've already let them know.

I also couldn't resist sneaking in a plug for Jon and his new single/music video. As Jon has said to me in the past, he's a Bangles fan, so hopefully Susanna will check out Jon's new music and help promote it, as I let her know of Jon's musical inspirations/influences which are much like her's and Matt's, and the other Bangles. Matthew is not a Bangle of course, but he's a good friend of the band.

My post is the next one after the introductory post made by
Gracie, who to Bangles fans is much like our beloved
Mish here at JPL land.
