Hola Jon! What's your favorite Coldplay song? Also, would you like to do a song in Spanish someday?
Por fin!!! si, que me gustaria hacer un album entero completamente en espanol. (siento que mi ordenador no tiene funciones espanoles puestas) La idea es que las ccanciones no seran traducidas de otras canciones, sino escritas origionalmente en castellano.
Aside from the guitar, can you play any other instruments? Clarinet? Saxophone? TRUMPET maybe?
Most of the instruments I play, I don't play very well, but I did take harp lessons in High shcool. Also I learned the basics of the cello and the drums. I can blay the bass pretty well and the ukelele. I'm learning to play the sitar.
Hi Jon, NG here... a while back I saw an article about you that mentioned that you played the harp... is this true and if so what size (type) of harp?? Also, there was an article that mentioned that you spoke several languages... we know about Spain ... do you speak other languages and if so which ones?? Thanks, NG
I think, I may have answered most of those already. I played the pedal harp, and you'll have to forgive me I have no clue what size. I can also speak bits of french, catalan, and some nigerian dialects.
In Idaho Falls, you and your cousin Ben Mathews had great chemistry and your voices blended well together. Do you plan to involve any of your family in the music you release?
Yep. My cousin Blake Mills Plays the guitar on all my tracks so far. He's amazing. He's just turned 18 and playes like jimmy page. Alex , when he heard, him was like wow, this kid's the real thing.
Did you ever get the birthday present from JPLFansUnited...the "Make a Wish" Foundation stuff?
I'm almost afraid to answer. The last time I answered a favorites question that involved food, A package of it was included with almost every letter I got. I'll have to say honey bunches of oats, though.
I did get the make a wish stuff. Thank you so much. The shirt is one of my favorites too.
Some people have been concerned that they will feel out of place at the Rexburg concert. Will non-students feel comfortable at that concert? Thanks for all you do, jon.
That's a valid concern. I really don't know. I went to one of these concerts once when I was there. I know that it's an event that has three parts. The first is a dinner, then the concert, then after the concert there's a dance. When I was there right after dinner there the entertainer stepped up to a piano and dove right in. I think for this one it will be different, though. I'm pretty sure that the concert portion will be held in the large auditorium. It seats something like four thousand people, so there'll no problems being inconspicuous. Remember that most people will have dates and be dressed up formally, or semi-formally. I guess you'll have to make your own judgement call. I think the school would flattered to have people coming from out of state to thier events, though. In any case I'll find out more and be sure that it makes its way around the site.
alright, I'd better get going. Thanks for the questions. You guys are the best. I'll be back again soon, so If you didn't get a chance to ask, maybe next time.
