Hey Jon,

I was Supposed to have a basketball game today but i lucked out and it snowed so the game was cancelled. Theres a couple things i would like to say and ask, first i wanted to thank you for the autograph and Hug at the cleveland concert meet and greet. You really made my Birthday! my two questions are, How have you been doing for fun lately when you take time from making your c.d? and i heard you were going to be on family feud, can you tell me anything more about that? Thanks Jon

Kaman

Fun...well, I've gone surfing a couple of times in the early morning. Mostly though, I rent a movie and pop it in just before I go to bed. Pretty boring I know, but I'm pretty new to the area and I don't know a ton of people. Nor do I have time to drive long distances to see the poeple I do know. LA is huge.

Family feud will be taped on the 23rd of this month. We're taping 5 shows in a day. It's an Idol themed week, so a bunch of other former idol contestants will be there. Diana, George and Amy Adams from season 3

...thanks Kaman. And good luck this season

Hi Jon!
I sent a "note" (with some Spanish) and shirts with the latest Harem "project" which I think you got because we saw you wearing a Pet Sounds shirt in one of the gallery pictures.
Anyway, I was wondering if you're planning any appearances in the upcoming months? (You know, ones where we have more than a few days notice. :P) I keed....
It would be great if you came down to Florida again!
-G-

Yeah I got all the Harem stuff and It's awsome. I think the pet sounds shirt is one of my favorites now. I was supposed to get back to molly about it, but I lost her #. By the time I realized that I that I'd lost her address too.

Well, there's still a whole lot to do before I can get out and do a real set. I'm in the process of putting a band together still and a lot of the music is still in it's begining stages. I'm more worried about getting it the right publicity right now, and I'm on track there. I'm meeting with my publicist this afternoon.

Hi Jon. My question is: What are your plans for airplay for your single/album? Will you be targeting mainstream radio, college radio or internet radio?

I'll be targeting anything. I think though that a lot of my audience is in mainstream radio. That's not to say, that moving to college radio in the future is not a possibility

How old were you when you began playing the guitar?

I was fourteen. And, for having played for over ten years, I'm really bad. I play well enough to write and that's about it. I love to play, though

Hey Jon,
I'm from JPLFU and teh Harem (hope you got the t-shirts and JPLFU b-day stuff).

My questions are:

How's your entourage coming along? Do you have a/an agent, lawyer, label, publicist, manager, etc., to help you out, or are you manning your own ship at this point?

Well, I'm doing good. I'm not really intrested in a manager right now. Most of that stuff I can take care of myself. I'm in between agent's right now, but I think I found one I like. I do have a publicist that works for the Tencer co. and I've kept the same Lawyer since Idol.

I did get my B-day stuff. Thanks a bunch. Some of those letters had me laughing for a while.

A lot of celebrities start or are actively involved in charities, so do you have any future plans to start or be involved in any charities? And if so, what kind of charity would it be (who or what would the charity benefit)?

I haven't thought about starting a charity, but I recently had some experience with the adopt a minefield organization. I was really impressed.

I was wondering how you are going to be marketing your music once you get it finished? Will it be in music stores, or only through you website?

Initially it will be exclusively online. I'm trying to get it on to a lot of the major internet distributors like ITunes, Napster, rapsody, etc... It should be up soon. That'll only be the single though. The full album will be available on disk. I don't realy have a timeframe on that, but at the speed we've gotten the single done the album should be available in 2015....no, hopefully it'll be this summer

What was your most memorable moment (that you're willing to share, of course) from the tour, either on stage or off?

I think it was from the TV show. Winning the Wild card round was pretty unreal.

Hi Jon!

I'm representing teh Harem too. Some people couldn't make it today so I'm asking for them.

Can you tell us a little something about the recording process? How many hours a day do you spend in the studio? How long does it take to make just one song?
What has working in a professional studio been like for you? I understand you have a producer, can you describe your working relationship with him?

Thanks! Can't wait to hear your music!

Well, Most of my time I spend recording in my home studio. It's just easier to record there and it's free... when I have an idea I put it down here at my house, then if I really like it I'll develop it more. Once I feel like it's ready it goes to the Pro studio. Keep in mind that the actual time spent there is kept to a minimum. Time is money, I guess. Last I was there it took about eight days to get three songs done, not including mastering. We were flying too.

His Name is Alex Gibson. He's really talented. He's worked on Albums from Celine dion to Rage Against the Machine. That's pretty much the gambit I think. The short version of the srory is that he saw me on Idol, my very first audition, in fact, and wanted to work with me. He contacted me through Randy Jackson's assistant. They work at the same studio.

So, there it is...tell the Harem hello from thier breakdancing hobbit.

I am a huge fan of your clothes you wore on "American Idol" and I was wondering if there will ever be a JPL Fashion Line? That green velvet jacket was awesome, and green is also my favourite colour.

Are you considering any big Broadway, TV, or even movie offers in your career future? We should see more of your talent as well as listen to your music. By the way, I can't wait for your CD to be released

I'm not so sure the world is ready for a JPL fasion line. We'd all end up looking like 12 year-old truck drivers. I wear what I feel. I try not to dress up to impress people, but I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't guilty of it. There really isn't any rhyme to my reason in fasion. I was given my first velvet sport coat by a theatre proffessor of mine for my birthday. He wore it in the 70s, then grew out of it, so he asked If I wanted it. Since I love vintage clothes and I wore it on TV, what do you think I said? I wore it on the show because the Idol stylist really loved it, and after that it became an ongoing thing. Glad you liked it though.

We'll see what happens in the future. I had a theatre scholorship in college so acting beacame a passion of mine. We'll see.

At you April concert are you going to give your fans who attend a chance to meet you and get autographs?

What is your fav thing about making a CD?

Don't know. I don't see why not though. I'll have to look into arranging something.

I love seeing something I've created take shape. I think that's what I love most.

. Are you curently working with a producer on a cd or are you doing this indepentantly.
2. Will the cd be all original songs or will some be copies of other songs.
3. Are you still planning on some sort of medical career? or just music?
4. How did you like BYU-I? I wanna go there so I was just wonderin if you had horror stories about it too.

Go to BYUI. You won't regret it.

Do you like cheese? I know it's a random question, but cheese is so good in my opinion and I was curious if you liked it. Hehe...Okay, another question, you may get this a lot, but what color are your eyes really?

One more question, what advice do you have for somebody who would like to be a singer someday? Thanks so much Jon, you're awesome and I can't wait for your CD! -Alicia<3

I'll take time to answer a random question. You know, I can't say I've developed a taste for cheese. I like it on sandwiches... When I was in spain, they'd serve cheese at mealtimes and it smelled terrible. I think that turned me off. Maybe I should give it another try, eh?

Have you managed to keep up with Real Madrid? Who's your favourite player? And do you think Beckham and Michael Owen have added anything to the team, or detracted?

I haven't really kept up. They haven't been doing great lately from what I've heard, though. I was actally more of a Barcelona fan.
