Hi JPL : ) Im not gonna lie, but I had no idea you had an album out and a myspace etc... I was just curious as to who from American Idol was recording and I came across your site! I am so happy you are doing so well. Any chance you will be coming to PA anytime soon? I live near Philly and I would LOVE to come see you. Even if your not performing, I would LOVE to see you : ) Are you still single?

Yeah there's a good chance I'll be coming to PA. I'll probably be announcing a bunch of show dates in Oct. I'll keep you posted. I'm glad you found us here.

So, I have to ask.. Cuz I know everyone is wondering... Did you find the ending of Deathly Hallows to be surprising? Or did you figure it out before it happened... as did some of us...



Hmmmm, There was this photographer friend of mine at idol camp that went into the store and read the last chapter and went around terrorizing children with half-truths about the ending. So, I went into it with kind of an idea but not knowing how much I'd been told was a lie. ...

My question is this: I read on American Idol boards that you were instructing at the AI camp. Is this true? My daughter is 17 and not eligible for this camp, do you offer any instructions otherwise? I am told she has a great voice and look but needs to work on stage presence, I don't know how to help her do this. I am including a link so that you can see her (from vacation last week) if you have time. ANY advice or imput that anyone can give me will be appreciated. Oh yeah! She is trying out this year for American Idol. Thanks! Tiffany's mom


Hmmmm the best advice I can give her is to figure out who she is musically

Do you have a favorite song that you've written? If so, which one, and what makes it stand out to you?



My favorites change from day to day. Sometimes I like one and other days another. I know that's probably not what you were looking for, but it's as honest as I can be.

Yeah, I was in the theater program in High School and College. Also, I did some summer stock theater. I was in Joseph and the Amazing Blah, blah, blah and a bunch of other shows.

Recent polls have shown a fifth of American's can't locate the US on a World Map. Why do you think this is?



I've never thought about it... Maybe it's somehow connected to the North Koreans.

i was wondering. What was like being in the recording studio while doing your album? I always wondered what it was like and how an artist feels during the whole process of recording an album.

I love the Stories from Hollywood album, especially Gypsy Queen and Boy Next Door! They're so addictive! Glad to see that you're touring... will you be coming to the east coast (Maybe RI, or at least Boston?) You should, because I would love to be able to see one of your concerts!
