Posted April 16, 2007 10:48 PM Jon, imagine you are the interviewer and you are preparing questions to ask Jon Peter Lewis. What question(s) would you ask and what would the answers be?
that's a loaded question.... I think I'll just stay the interviewee.
It's been a little while now since AI3, so how are you doing? Is everything going in the direction you intended, at the pace you wanted? Or have you had to make compromises along the way?
I'm doing good, thank you. I'm sure few things in life ever turn out how we imagine them, but I'm very happy. I get to make music, and that's cool. I'm lucky to be in complete control of the kind of music I make.
My sociology prof says we should all watch the news and she quizzes us on current events. What are your favourite news sources? I prefer the Daily Show and Colbert. When I don't have to get up at 2 am, I watch Weekend Update.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report are the best shows on TV.
Posted April 30, 2007 10:25 PM dude like what are you doin eatin all that mince meat pie down at that diner in west hollywood and wearin that rhinestone stone cowboy suit???
Most of the time you crack me up. Like a REAL laugh out loud moment. And I freakin’ love it man. Have you ever thought about doing comedy or like making guest appearances on sitcoms and other shows? I really think you should. Lord knows I would be watching.
Hope all is well
Kat
I'm no stand up comic, but I'd be open to TV appearances. We'll see what happens...

Your songs are nice to listen to! You metioned Sanjaya, It was horrible to see how Amreicans can treat someone like that and Simmon was horrible about him. How do we expect our children to turn out the way we want to when Adults were acting like that. Our Children watch adults who are suppose to be examples for out youth do you think that Sanjaya should of been treated as bad as he was? I wasn't his fan but I voted for him because I couldn't stand the way he was being treated. I think he can sing love songs or latin and do great but that is just my thoughts on it. He will never sing as well as you do but I think he could if he goes in another direction. Do you think he has any chance at all?
People mag. just did a feature article on him. ...and the show's not even over. ...that's a first as far as I can tell. I'm sure he'll be just fine.
Posted May 02, 2007 10:07 AM Hide Post Hey Jon, You are amazing! My name is Kimberly and I was just wondering if you went to EFY when you were in youth. I go every year and it is awesome! I am also planning to go to BYU-I in January with my cousin. I hope to be able to see you out there since you never come to the east coast. Have a great day.
Kim
Nope, never made it to an EFY. (that's a church youth confrence, for those of you who are confused). I'm in that area a lot, so I'm sure you'll be able to make it to a show...best of luck!
Posted May 02, 2007 10:55 PM Hey Jon, it was great to see and hear you in NM.
Theres only two or three weeks left of Idol I was wondering if you'll be writing in any other blogs after Idol is over for the season? It's gotten to be kind of a habit now checking out your blogs. I'm afraid I'll go through some kind of weird withdrawl or something!!!!!
I've thought about it... I haven't made any decisions about it, but I'll give you a tentative yes.

Hmmmm, I have some favorites that you haven't heard yet.
I've seen the show, and I'm probably not smarter than any of those 5th graders....they're like genetically enhanced children...not like any fifth graders I've ever seen.
Posted May 06, 2007 11:40 AM LOL! Lisa I know what you are saying… I was wondering that exact something too. JP, you have said before you have enjoyed writing the blogs. Like Lisa I look forward to them every week. Do you think you could just write something??? about anything... How about carrots??? LoL! Just a thought. No but I do agree with Lisa, please say you will keeping blogging somewhere...
I see that your album "Stories from Hollywood" (which I found on iTunes) contains the songs "Gypsy Queen" and "Man from Amsterdam", which were recorded by a band called "7th House" in Pittsburgh, probably about 6 or 7 years ago (I am a Pittsburgh native and actually own that CD). I didn't think 7th House still existed, but I was wondering if any of their former members are in your band. How did you find those songs? They are great songs.
You're right, 7th house doesn't really exist anymore, but Sky Elobar is alive and well. He plays the bass for me and has been a big part of "stories from hollywood"
We're definataly planning a show out there in Pittsburgh
Posted February 07, 2007 10:27 AM Hello! Just wanted to get on to ask again when you will be close to Pittsburgh?? March 16th would be good ..haha!! Me and some friends will be there to see Chris Daughtry on the 15th ... seeing you too would make my day! Hope everything is going well for you!!
I was thinking about going to club cafe out there sometime in the summer. Do you want to help me get there?
