Our friends(as well as us) are HUGE fans of yours, and they are getting married in July of 2007. My husband is in the wedding, and the groom asked him one favor...GET JPL to sing at my wedding!!!!! Any chance????
Hopeful in Pennsylvania, Kristen
...kristen, I wish I could. But please tell your friends congrats from me...and maybe play my new song for them
Jon, I totally love your new song "If I Go Away?" Did you write it?? It's AMAZING!
Thank you! Tell your friends about it! I wish I could take credit for it...but I only wrote a small portion of it. Most of it was written a while back by my bass player, Sky. He's a great writer. I'll tell him you like it.
Hey Jon...I'm new here and I'm sorry I don't have any questions about sheep or anything, but I was wondering; do you have any advice for those of your fans that plan to try out for AI 6 this year?
Kat Okon
I'd say if your trying out, find out what it is that you do best and stick to your guns.
Hey Jon, I was reading the answers side and noticed you play clubs. I just don't know how far you go out. Anyway I'm out in Lawton, Ok. It is the third largest city out here because of a huge Army post they have rigth up against it. Anyway to the question part, we have a place here call "The Railhead". they have live bands for all over Texas and Oklahoma play there and the G.I.s and locals love it. Do you think you and your band could grace us with your presence here in the next few months???? Kat Oko
JONNY AKA HOTTIE, I AM GOING TO WRITE A BOOK ABOUT YOU, YOUINSPIRED ME. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME SOME INTRESTING FACT ABOUT YOU? PLEASE I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IT A LOT. THANKS.
Dear Jon How do you choose the questions you will answer? How do I write a good question that you will notice?
First you have to make a pilgrimage to the Yavapai-Apache Nation's Cliff Castle Casino in Arizona and gamble a few bucks there. You'll gain the trust of the local clairvoyant, Hogarth. He'll then direct you the location of a hidden stockpile of unusable airplane parts. Most of those parts will be useless, obviously, but the serial number etched into a certian vertical stabilizer is exactly the same number combination to locker number 784 in the Lucerne Switzerland Train depot. In it is a piece of paper that reads the word "boomshanka". The word means nothing, but it'll be fun to read and repeat over and over to yourself. Take that piece of paper to the Lucerner Regionbank in town and they'll open up a lock box with a key and directions to a private yacht on the lake there. Follow them and you'll find me sipping on exoctic drinks and giving orders to an unbelievably beautiful French masseuse named Aimeé. I'll be more than happy to tell you everything you want to know then.
Rodeo is a very cool song! It has promoted much discussion on your web site about all the underlying meanings in the lyrics. So I was wondering, did you and Sky put a lot of thought into creating a song with deeper 'hidden' meanings or did you just sit down and write a fun, funky, catchy, pop-culture type song?
Well, it's been entertaining to see the response to the song....I'm not one to destroy what people get out of music, so whatever you folks think the song means is fine by me. Just as long as you have fun listening to it.
Jon, so when are you coming through Pittsburgh to hand out! Next time I am on I will post the picture of my and my friend with our big Jon Peter Lewis Lets Hang Out sign!
Hey Jon, it's your best fan Becki aka Melissa B's roommate aka Tia's old comp! I was just checking out the website and listening to a little bit of Gypsy Queen. I think it is my favorite! So I don't really have a question for you, I just wanted to tell you that I am honestly becoming your biggest fan...hope the tour is going great!
Hey Becki, Thanks! That's one of my favorites too.
Did you do anything exciting for Thanksgiving Holiday? (Are you coming back to answer questions?)
Yes. Nothing really exciting...I spent it with family and friends...it was nice. In between football games we found time to sing songs around the piano...it was great.
Posted November 09, 2006 10:50 PM Very important question-
Lennon OR McCartney? Who do you like more? (no cheating by saying George or Ringo) And what's your favorite Beatles album, song, and if you collect bootlegs, what's your favorite?
I have some bootlegs, but not enough.
I think I'm more of a John fan. I really like Paul and respect his musical genius. I mean, he really is the one that pioneered sgt. pepper. But, John's music is more ambitious and literary. I like that. I think post beatles John had more meaningful and iconic songs. Sonically Paul had a better touch, though.
Neither of them were as cool by themselves as they were together.
