Lynn asks:

Hi Jon,

Thanks for coming by to answer some more questions.

Having found you had gained a fanbase after AI, did it help your determination to stay in the music business?

I love the Christmas song. Now I just need it released in England! And, as we don't do Thanksgiving here, I'll wish you an early Merry Christmas.

thank you, merry christmas to you too. We'll get the christmas song and a lot more out to you as soon as we can.

and I can tell you that the ONLY reason I stayed on in music was because there was a fan base. I thought it would be a shame to do nothing after Idol. I don't know if that's the right reason or not to be in this business, but it was mine.

Since then I've found out how much I love doing it, so if anything is ever meant to be, this was I guess.

numberonefan asks:

Are you learning to play any new instruments?

Do you have any new band members, and is your band all formed and ready to go?

Which leads into my real question: Are you going to go on tour anytime soon? The Southeast would be a nice place to start!

Yeah, I'm learning to play the computer.

I've had guys play with me on and off and It'll probably continue to be that way.

I hope to tour in this next year and I'm sure I'll make it to the southeast

Ms. Moneypenny asks:

Your new Christmas song is fabulous. Do you have any good/funny stories about your collaboration with James Collins? Do you have any plans to collaborate with James again in the future?

Also, I am dying to know, is that you playing guitar on "It's Christmas"?

Thanks so much,
Ms. Moneypenny

PS: On a random note...what's your favorite James Bond film?

one of the funny things I about my trip to canada was when I met James. i'd spoken with him over the phone a bunch of times but when I met him I was really shocked. You have to understand that he's one of the nicest people I've met in my life and he writes a lot of love ballads so when I saw this guy who looked like he played for the toronto maple leafs I had to laugh.

Later he explained to me he'd just finished playing the role of a prision convict in a canadian TV series.

Marial-B asks:

Iris asks:

1. Do you like Johnny Cash? Has he influenced your music or style, or musical style? There's a new movie about him called "Walk the Line", starring Joaquin Pheonix... what do you think of that?

I love Johnny Cash, i asked to do one of his songs for country week on Idol, but I was told that it was too boring...He is definately an influence. I just hope Joaquin does him justice
