In conjunction with the release of his new album, Break the Silence, Jon will perform on release day, July 22, at the Borders store at 32nd and 2nd in New York City. The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. That same day, Jon will also perform for Choice Music, which is a service providing music to cable TV and business. The next day, July 23, Jon will perform for the The New York Post and also at the F.Y.E. in Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, New York. The performance at Smith Haven Mall begins at 6:00 p.m. Jon will jet back West for a performance on July 29 at 6 p.m. at the F.Y.E. on S. Redwood Rd. in Salt Lake City. 6/18/08: Sweetwater Theater Show June 23, Special Acoustic Fundraiser CD, and Radio Studio Visit in Fort Wayne, IN
Jon will visit Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 23. He will perform an acoustic show at 2:00 p.m. in the state of the art Sweetwater Performance Theater. The show is free for the first 250 people, plus 25 people at the show will win a free copy of Jon's new CD, "Break the Silence." Jon will sign autographs and talk to fans afterward. Jon will also record a special song for volume 3 of the Majic Miracle Music CD, which is a fundraiser for Riley Hospital for Children. Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of this CD series included such stars as Daughtry,
Sarah Bareilles, Ryan Cabrarera, and Five For Fighting. The volume Jon will be on should be released this November. Also on June 23, Jon will appear on Majic 95.1 WAJI's "Majic in the Morning" show at about 7:15 a.m.

On June 21, Jon returns to Camp Kindle for their 10-year celebration at the Rococco Theater in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tickets are $20, and the show starts at 8 p.m.
6/3/08: Jon sings with "Idols in Concert" shows in San Francisco
From July 1 through July 5 and again from July 8 through July 12, Jon will sing in the "Idols in Concert" shows at the Rrazz Room in Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. These shows will feature Jon performing solo, duet, and ensemble numbers with various other top-ten AI finalists. American Idol's own musical director, Michael Orland, is also the musical director for these shows. Advance tickets are at a discount rate. Doors at 6:30 and shows at 8:00 p.m.

Jon’s hit song “It’s Christmas,” which charted at #13 in Canada, was recently included in the CD music sampler A Taste of Triple A #37. This CD is sent to over 225 Adult Album Alternative radio stations as well as various music VIPs. Jon appears on this CD alongside such well-known musicians as Sarah McLachlan, Jim Brickman, and Norah Jones. Jon has written a chapter called "Pens, Anyone?" for the top-selling book Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul. 10/6/2007: Jon sings at Molly Malone's in L.A. Oct 12
On Friday, Oct. 12 at 2:00 p.m., Jon will make a repeat appearance at Molly Malone's in Los Angeles. Jon will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m., and the show is $10.

10/5/2007: JPL Teams Up With Authentic Records
Jon Peter Lewis, the first singer to bring rock 'n' soul to "American Idol," is joining forces with the independent roots rock label Authentic Records. Jon will promote his debut record, Stories From Hollywood on tours with veteran Authentic artists such as the Nadas and the Josh Davis Band.
"I'm a big fan of the Authentic roster and I can't wait to get out and meet their fans," Lewis said. "It's really a good fit and I look forward to a great relationship."
"We are thrilled to be working with Jon," Authentic co-founder Jason Walsmith added. "Honestly, I never even saw him on 'American Idol' I just heard his record and loved his voice and his songwriting."

7/26/07: JPL on Access Hollywood
Tune in to Access Hollywood July 28th and 29th to watch Jon perform and teach at American Idol Camp. Reporters talked with JPL and the lucky kids accepted into the performing arts program. After hitting the stage with Macy Gray, and his impressive first week as a guest instructor, Jon was asked to stay on for the second session. Joining Jon this week will be Vonzell Solomon, Carmen Rasmussen, Bucky Covington, and Kimberly Locke.
7/25/07: AZ Borders Books shows postponed; CA Borders shows scheduled
Jon will perform a number of acoustic shows at Borders Bookstores in the upcoming months. The Arizona shows originally scheduled for July and August have been postponed. But Jon will perform at the California Borders store in Simi Valley on 8/10, in San Louis Obispo on 8/19, in Thousand Oaks on 8/24, in Oxnard on 8/25, in Riverside on 9/7, and in Canoga Park on 9/8.
7/18/07:Jon Performs With Macy Gray
Jon joined the extraordinary Macy Gray on stage at American Idol Camp over the weekend. Jon sang with Macy and accompanied her on guitar for the special performance in Northfield, Massachusetts. 7/14/07: Jon to perform in Ohio
Jon has been invited to perform at the charity event, "For the Love of Lily". The event will be hosted by Billy Mason, Tim McGraw's longtime drummer, on August 13th in Akron, Ohio. Proceeds from the event will benefit the orphans of China and families wishing to adopt.
7/11/07: Jon on The Today Show
Jon was featured in a story on the Today Show airing June 11th. NBC talked to Jon about Idol camp and showed him performing with the campers. He sang the very popular song from his debut album, "Rodeo," and the kids loved it!

JPL, not only a great singer but also an exceptionally talented musician, will be hitting the road with his guitars playing special acoustic shows over the next few weeks. Jon just returned from Idaho where he wowed the crowd performing his original songs, including a number of tunes he has just finished writing. Jon will be playing Club Velour in Utah on March 30th and The Launchpad in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 15th. Jon will also be joining the morning television show "Good Things Utah" for a live performance on Thursday, March 29th and will be on Salt Lake City's hit radio station KZHT playing live at 7:30 a.m. on March 30th. Jon will appear as a panelist on "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet" on Wednesday, April 11. You can catch him around 9:00 a.m. when he will be joining a number of panelists, including a guest from Rolling Stone magazine, to discuss the latest Idol events. This show is carried on Fox television stations in major markets across the country.
