3/25/09: "American Stars in Concert"--Ramona Bowl, Hemet, CA
After his Boise, Idaho performance with "American Stars in Concert," Jon will perform again with the traveling show on May 16 at 8:00 p.m. in the Ramona Bowl in Hemet, CA. Justin Guarini (Season 1), Rickey Smith (Season 2), Mikalah Gordon (Season 4), and Gina Glocksen (Season 6) will also participate in this show. Tickets are $25, $35, or $45. The $45 tickets include Golden Circle seating and a meet & greet after the show.

On April 24, Jon will join "American Stars in Concert" at the Morrison Center on the campus of Boise State University. The concert starts at 8 p.m., and tickets range in price from $15 to $30. The show also features American Idol finalists Melinda Doolittle, Carly Smithson, and Rickey Smith.

12/3/08: Acoustic version of "Break the Silence" on fundraiser CD
The acoustic version of Jon's song "Break the Silence" is now available for purchase online and in Indiana stores as part of Majic 95.1's Miracle Music CD Volume 3. Proceeds from this album will benefit the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Jon appears on this album alongside other nationally known artists, such as Mercy Me, Collective Soul, Lenka, Augustana, Josh Kelley, and Matt Nathanson. Jon recorded this new version of "Break the Silence" at the state-of-the-art Sweetwater Productions recording studios.

The episode also features behind-the-scenes clips of Jon from season 3 as well as recent interview clips. In response to the recent tragedies in Jennifer Hudson's family, Jon has expressed his love and support. In a message to Jennifer, Jon calls the tragedies, "Senseless beyond speech. Infuriating. Confusing. Heartbreaking. Jennifer, there are no words that could describe the loss you must feel. I love you and I am with you in these turbulent days ahead." In further statements, Jon expressed his belief that because "Jennifer is a strong believer in God, in the times ahead the best thing for her is to rely upon him to get her through this."

6/13/08: Jon returns to Camp Kindle benefit
On June 21, Jon returns to Camp Kindle for their 10-year celebration at the Rococco Theater in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tickets are $20, and the show starts at 8 p.m.
6/3/08: Jon sings with "Idols in Concert" shows in San Francisco
From July 1 through July 5 and again from July 8 through July 12, Jon will sing in the "Idols in Concert" shows at the Rrazz Room in Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. These shows will feature Jon performing solo, duet, and ensemble numbers with various other top-ten AI finalists. American Idol's own musical director, Michael Orland, is also the musical director for these shows. Advance tickets are at a discount rate. Doors at 6:30 and shows at 8:00 p.m.

This week, Jon will be on TVGuide Channel's Idol Tonight. The show airs several times during the week. On the morning of May 21, Jon is also scheduled on the Eagle 101.5 in Salt Lake City. The wait is nearly over! Jon's new single, "Break The Silence" will be available for download March 18th.
It will be the first single to be released from the upcoming album, also called "Break the Silence." The album release is planned for Spring 2008.
1/23/08: JPL on Vol 1 of Curtain Call - release date Feb 5th
Jon will have several songs on the new Curtain Call CD series, which will feature former American Idol finalists. The series is a Wal-Mart, iTunes exclusive and will hit the street Feb. 5th.
